Eric and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary aboard the Caribbean Princess. Sailing to St. Thomas, St. Maarten and Princess Cay ( a private island in the Bahamas) This cruise was one of the most relaxing vacations to date. Princess Cruise Line has a slight older clientele, which suited us fine for this cruise. We needed rest and relaxation and we sure got it. We had a beautiful balcony cabin, and the weather was perfect all week.
One of our favorite things on this cruise was our Champagne Breakfast on our Balcony. There was enough food to feed a small Army.
In St. Thomas we took a bus over to the far side of the island and boarded a sailboat..we sailed to St. John's island and spent the day snorkeling and playing in the beautiful Caribbean waters.
In St. Maarten we joined a few others and hired a private driver to tour the island. We headed over to Sunset Beach Bar and Maho Beach, we were able to see planes landing right over us. It was really awesome. We made many stops that day at different beaches and shopping areas.
On Princess Cay, we walked as far as we could and got away from all the other cruisers. We snorkeled and laid out. It was a great relaxing day.
